What are your lifeguards doing when you’re not there?

A question every aquatic manager asks at some point.

We were inspired to create a new service after visiting an aquatic facility and observing a Lifeguard drinking from a Booster Juice cup while lifeguarding the pool, then when looking across the pool, another lifeguard who was on-duty providing bather supervision was leaning casually against the railing next to the pool. Our observation was that neither looked rescue ready.

Our new secret shopper service the Pool Patrol Evaluator involves an Aquatic Safety Canada consultant visiting your facility on an agreed upon day and time to conduct a facility assessment that reviews the application of admission policies, customer service experience, facility cleanliness, and lifeguard readiness. Following each site visit we provide management with a report that documents our observations of the evaluated items.

Conducting quick external assessments like this are not only informative but also crucial for bather safety, prevention of incidents, and drowning prevention.

The cost of this service starts at just $375 + GST for facilities in Alberta. We also have subscription plans available for facilities that want multiple assessments done over the course of the year.
